I'm confronted by magnificent architecture that takes my breath away.

800 year old sculptured rock walls soared upward with increasing slope, forming mighty pedestals of strength and beauty, blending the humble courtyard earth below, with the walls of the castle floating high above like a cloud in heaven.

Everywhere, this earth-to-heaven architectural metaphor is expressed with purpose and humility.
